The CICC serves as a forum for the discussion of telecommunications and information technology issues affecting organizations involved in the provision of energy, natural gas, water, transportation, or other essential public services. The goal of the CICC is to create a favorable regulatory environment that promotes the telecommunications and information technology capabilities necessary to protect and maintain the nation's critical infrastructures.

 Among the many issues that UTC's Legal/Regulatory staff encounters, some do not fit neatly into either "spectrum" or "infrastructure" categories. Look for information about those issues here.
